Ingredients

  • 4 hot dog rolls
  • 454 g (1 lb) fresh shrimp or 2 cleaned lobsters
  • 125 ml (½ cup) mayonnaise
  • 15 ml (1 Tbsp) dulse flakes
  • 3 lettuce leaves, washed and rough chopped
  • 15 ml (1 Tbsp) chives, chopped
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) lemon or lime juice (optional)
  • 1 pinch of Espelette pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Toast the rolls in a frying pan, toaster oven or oven. If you prefer, you may also use them un-toasted.
  • Mix all ingredients.
  • Lay the mixture into the rolls.

Lobster may be substituted for shrimp in this recipe.
